What is Triptorelin Acetate
Triptorelin is a releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist that is a potent inhibitor of the synthesis of estrogen (in women) and is used to treat advanced prostate cancer. It is D-tryptophan substitution at residue 6. It is a medication that causes stimulation of the pituitary, thus decreasing secretion of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle stimulating hormone (FSH).
Triptorelin is a decapeptide (pGlu-His-Trp-Ser-Tyr-D-Trp-Leu-Arg-Pro-Gly-NH2) and a gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist (GnRH agonist) used as the acetate or pamoate salts.

Triptorelin Acetate Benefits
Triptorelin may be used in the treatment of hormone-responsive cancers such as prostate cancer or breast cancer, precocious puberty, estrogen-dependent conditions (such as endometriosis or uterine fibroids), and in assisted reproduction. It is also used as therapy for gender identity disorder.

According to scientific study that has been conducted on animal test subjects, it has been determined that GnRH (Triptorelin)'s chief function is to lower the expression of luteinizing hormone and follicle-stimulating hormone.
