What is Oxiracetam
Oxiracetam is a Piracetam derivative and excites the central nervous system, promotes brain metabolism, significantly increases and promotes memory retention, and effectively treats senile memory and mental decline. Oxiracetam Dosage:
Most testing indicates doses of 3 – 30 mg/kg with 100mg/kg as the maximum dosage. Common recommendations are 800mg – 2400mg per day between 1 – 3 doses. It may be best to start with smaller doses and note changes before increasing.
Oxiracetam is well-absorbed with as much as 84% reaching the bloodstream unchanged. The peak serum level is 1 – 3 hours after a single dose with a half life of 8 hours (for those without renal impairment). Oxiracetam is found in the septum, hippocampus, and cerebral cortex with the least in the striatum.
